“Beauty for Ashes,” the debut release from Call Me Found, offers beautifully-crafted songs about every day life drawn from a Christian worldview. Vocalist Hannah Devlin’s intimate and vulnerable vocals are complimented by a rich, organic palette of sounds deftly painted by producer/instrumentalist, Jeff Bishop. This is Contemporary Christian Americana – complete with soulful dobro, soaring Stratocaster, earthy Hammond organ, bright mandolins, rustic strings, and lush vocal arrangements.
The release includes 6 original songs, plus a stunning version of Paul McCartney’s Blackbird that features a reflective vocal performance from Devlin paired with Bishop’s heartfelt dobro.
